Angel Park

On Tuesday I went for a run with the Fit4Mom Run Club – our Coach Lisa had us do some speed work at the path circling Angel Park. It was my first time there and even though it was nighttime, I noticed a pretty good looking play area and splash pad. It’s a personal goal of mine to hit up every single splash pad in Southern Nevada. That said, I decided to make a return trip with Lennon.

I snuck out of work early and we made it there by about 4:30/5:00 p.m. And, to my surprise, he wanted nothing to do with the little splash pad and bee-lined to the jungle gym. There he impressed me with his no-fear attitude and embraced his inner Ninja Warrior.

Overall, the park is nice. It has a playground, splash pad, tables, tennis court and a nice trail (about 1/3 mile around). It is cleaner than most parks in the area, but it still gets a decent amount of traffic. Dogs seem to be regulars at this park. The splash pad leaves much to be desired with just a small area and two turtles squirting water. You can see more pictures on their YELP page.
